Allama Rashid-ul-Khairi, a distinguished short-story writer, hailed from Delhi. He gave voice to the grievances of society’s marginalized strata, chronicling the rights and plight of women with such pathos that he came to be reverently known as Musawwir-e-Gham. Beyond his short fiction, his published journals, novels, and biographical works attained widespread acclaim and popularity.
