In the last part, we read that Pinocchio’s nose grew incredibly because he told lies. Now the good Fairy allowed Pinocchio to cry for half an hour over his nose so that he could realize the consequences of telling lies. Afterwards, she called the woodpeckers, who pecked at Pinocchio’s nose and reduced it to its normal size. Pinocchio became very happy and thanked the Fairy. She asked Pinocchio to stay with her and be her little brother, and she told him that his father would also come to their place that very night.
