The next morning, the street boy with a hand-organ on his back came to Herr Sesemann’s house to claim the reward from Clara. However, Sebastian grew angry when he saw the little boy in ragged clothes, and when he heard that the boy had come for money, he became even rougher, unable to believe him. But when he realized that the lady the boy had met must be Heidi, not Clara, he took the boy to the study, where the child began playing his organ. The loud music startled Miss Rottenmeier.
