The doctor came up to Heidi’s house with Peter, who did not talk much despite the doctor’s repeated attempts to start a conversation. Heidi then went to the mountains with the doctor and Peter. On the way, she happily talked about birds, goats, flowers, and other natural objects, which the doctor greatly enjoyed. However, Peter was not happy because Heidi paid more attention to the doctor, who was deeply absorbed in the beauty of nature.
