The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Part 13

As Oz had promised, the four friends went one by one to the Throne Room. The Scarecrow was the first, eager to receive his brains. Oz carefully removed his head and secretly filled it with bran mixed with needles and pins, making him believe he was now wise. Next came the Tin Woodman, who longed for a heart. With great cleverness, Oz placed a pretty silk heart stuffed with sawdust inside his chest, sealing it with a patch of tin. But what about the Cowardly Lion; will Oz truly be able to give him courage? And most importantly, how will Dorothy find her way back to Kansas? What plan will the Great Humbug think of to send her home? Read this interesting chapter of this wonderful series to find out more about the clever Wizard of Oz.
