In the last part, we read that Pinocchio was caught by an ugly fisherman who was about to throw him into the frying-pan. Just then, a dog entered the cave. It was none other than Alidoro, the same dog whom Pinocchio had once saved from drowning. When Pinocchio recognized him, he begged him to save his life. Alidoro immediately seized Pinocchio and carried him safely out of the cave, leaving the ugly fisherman behind. Pinocchio thanked Alidoro warmly, and then they both went their separate ways. What will the old man tell Pinocchio about the wounded boy, Eugene? Who will come out of the Fairy’s house, and how long will Pinocchio have to wait in the cold outside? Read this part to discover what happened to poor Pinocchio.
